As a detective, Charlie is often INSIGHTFUL and ANALYTICAL, quick on his feet and EARNEST in his solutions. However, he is no beat cop and leaves the work at work; unless you are up to something dangerous, he will likely avoid whatever mischief you're getting up to in your own time. Gratingly LOYAL and sometimes MEDDLING, he makes for a SOLID FRIEND to those he's managed to get to know.
Though he can be a bit IMPULSIVE at times, his heart is always in the right place. A subtle mark of SASS tends to follow his behaviour with those that try to get under his skin, but he's been known to fumble in GRACELESS moments as well. Charlie is easy going for a cop, but might be too VANILLA for some people's tastes.
Like a TYPICAL GINGER, he can't hide his embarrassment as his skin FLUSHES quite easily. He isn't the sort to hide his emotions anyway, and doesn't find it to be a weakness as he wears his HEART ON HIS SLEEVE. While he's still a consummate PROFESSIONAL, you'll KNOW IT when he's angry. He might avoid confrontations over minor squabbles, but he has no problem LETTING SOMEONE HAVE IT when they've gone too far.
